BREEDING FOR THE LONGTAILS - Neck and shoulder

As with the males, the neck should be elegant, long-ish and the breast should be prominent. A hen with such refinements will give us very refined sons.

Note here the very full saddle area, and the horizontally-carried back. The comb is not the new "rising comb" form, but it is very beautifully cut and neatly small.

Use the genetic group above as a case-study for the form of both hen and rooster. The extreme refinements of the hens (sister to the roosters) in the picture I took in 2001 in Germany are equal to those of the young roosters. The hen in the foreground shows exceptional sickles!
