CHU-SHAMO
The "Chu" Shamo is just a weight class
of the breed Shamo. The first European poultry club to recognize this was
the Italian National Poultry Association and the United Kingdom Asian Hardfeather
Club joined these ranks shortly thereafter.

DER WELT) caused quite a stir amoung gamefowl enthusiasts and its blood
began many excellent Shamo lines in Germany.

Head study of an award-winning O-Shamo. This bird
was given to my son by a cocker from the Valle D'Aosta who has maintained
lines from Japan and Taiwan, imported by way of Belgium. The posture is
excellent, the beak is thick and strong and the triple comb, even though
even and firm, could be a shade more compact. This bird weighs in in the
O-Shamo range.

My 13 year-old son with a wheaten Shamo hen. This
bird has kept the elegant, slender form of her first year and has given
young that, so far, have this more slender form. The hens of Shamo usually
change physiologically after egg laying, becoming more massive, as well
as developing the pronouced points of heavy eyebrows, more fleshy faces
and spurs.
